Random fact of the day: The human body has about 700 muscles. That's a lot! These constitute about 40% of our body weight. Here's the bad news: with age, your muscle fibers become smaller in diameter, become less elastic, your ability to recover from muscle injuries decreases, and tolerance for exercise decreases.
Bummer.
Go out and enjoy those fabulous muscles while you can. Take a walk, do some yoga or gentle stretching, or a few push ups. Enjoy!
